We are going to learn how to make iced cranberry white tea, and yes we know this isn’t a “boba” flavor per se, but it tastes really great with boba in our opinion! If you really want to you could even add your favorite fruit jelly and it’d taste just as good, if not better.
We think this iced cranberry white tea is great because the icy tartness and the sweetness of the boba pearls really combine well to make a perfectly balanced drink; not too sweet and not too sour!

Iced Cranberry White Tea
- 4 bags white tea or loose leaf white tea
- 8 cups of water, boiled
- 1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
- 1/2 cup white cranberry juice (optional)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- Heat Proof Container
How to Make Iced Cranberry White Tea
Step 1
Get 8 cups of water, put water into a pot (or kettle) and allow the water to come to a boil! Once the water has boiled allow it to sit for approximately 2 minutes and then add your tea leaves in and allow the leaves to steep for 4-5 minutes!
Step 2
If you’re using loose tea leaves, strain the tea leaves out into your heat proof container and if you’re using tea bags, simply remove the tea bags and put the tea into the heat proof container.
Add your 1/4 cups of sugar (or more, if you have a sweet tooth!) to the hot tea and stir well.
Allow the tea to cool completely, this should take about 30 minutes.
TIP: Now is the best time to start cooking your boba if you want boba in your drink! If you don’t know how to make boba, we recommend you have a quick read of our blog post on how to make boba!
Step 3
Now that the tea is completely cooled, we recommend that you add your 1/2 cup of white cranberry juice to the mixture! This gives it an added punch of flavor but it is totally optional! Furthermore, we opted to use white cranberry juice to maintain the pure color of the white tea, but you can use traditional cranberry juice too!
Step 4
Add your cranberries in to add more tartness and color! Stir the cranberries in well and allow the mixture to sit for at least 30 minutes to really allow the flavors to combine well.
TIP: The longer you let it sit, the better the cranberries will be able to infuse into the drink!
Step 5
Now that your tea is completely cooled, it’s time to drink it!
If you have boba, put the boba at the bottom of the cup, fill with ice, and pour your tea in and enjoy! If you don’t have boba (shame on you… just kidding!) fill a tall glass with ice and pour your tea in!
Now all you have to do is sit back, relax, and satisfy your taste buds 🙂
